FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I use Shilajit?
A: You can infuse Shilajit into any warm tea, coffee, or smoothie, or spring water. DO NOT use chlorinated water that comes from the tap if you are connected to city water. Chlorine is a chemical that easily reacts with other molecules and could form toxic substances if combined with Shilajit or other substances. Please do not mix Shilajit with alcohol; however, it can be effective to help relieve hangover symptoms.
We recommend taking a piece about the size of a grain of rice (~100 mg) once per day to start. After a few days, take the same amount 2-3 times per day. Then gradually increase the amount of Shilajit taken with each dose up to a large pea size (~300 mg) until you achieve the desired benefits. Do not be greatly concerned with getting the portions exactly right or exactly the same each time you take it. Use about the same shape each time to ensure that you have a relatively consistent Shilajit daily dose.
Factors that will affect how much Shilajit you should take per day include: Body size, body mass index (BMI), general health, metabolism, food/lifestyle choices.
As with any new experience for your body, you may experience undesired effects such as difficulty sleeping or digestive discomfort. These are usually temporary and an indicator that you should step down the Shilajit dosage for a few days, giving your body some time to adjust. Of course, if you experience any symptom that you would describe as stronger than mild seek consultation with your healthcare professional.
When to Take Shilajit
To maximize absorption, the best time to take your dosage of Shilajit is on an empty stomach in the morning/day. If you find that Shilajit produces an increase in your energy, don’t take it in the evening, as it may cause sleep difficulty for some people.
Q: How soon can I expect results from taking Shilajit?
A: Please do not expect rapid and serious health changes immediately after taking Shilajit. You may notice an increase in energy and vitality in the beginning. However, it works similar to vitamins, and may take months to notice the changes that develop over time as the body makes use of minerals over time. Balanced small doses or cycled use of Shilajit can enhance the physiological functions of the body by facilitating the movement of mineral deposits to the blood.
Q: My shilajit is rock hard, what do I do?
A: If the cap is stuck, run under hot water for about a minute and try again. If the actual resin becomes hard or dry, try adding a few drops of warm water and let sit.
Q: Does Shilajit contain heavy metals?
Due to the high altitude where Shilajit is harvested, our source is extremely rare. The environment is pristine and free from pollutants, fertilizers and chemicals. According to our 3rd Part Analysis test results, it is free of any heavy metals or contaminants.
Q: Dosing guidelines for DHA?

Q: How long does it take to feel results from your products?

We suggest starting with the lowest recommended dose and increasing from there. With most of our medicines, you will feel immediate results, but it can take up to 3 months to feel a more stable change within your body.
